The starting kit also contains 2 hours of staff training and one set of printed treatment promotion materials (rollups, posters, flyers, rack cards, loyalty punch cards, and more) along with free access to downloadable formats. This first kit also includes extended, in some cases even lifetime warranty (beyond the standard one year functional warranty), and additional years of replacement insurance for the detachable components of the AirJector device.

    • Can the AirJector product and its accessories be transported and used outside of a health facility?

Yes. The AirJector product was designed to be used in every type of health care environment. The AirJector product is packaged in a lightweight, hard-shell carrying case that makes it easy to carry and protects the product during transportation. The carrying case also has space allocated for accessories (AirCapsules and AirCovers) for multiple treatments.

    • Can the AirJector product and its accessories be transported via air?

Yes. The AirJector product can be transported via air in checked baggage. Attempting to carry on the AirJector or any part thereof is not recommended. The air transportation of compressed gases may be restricted by regional DOT rules and regulations. Typically, the AirCapsules will be covered under a limited quantity exception for air shipping. However, it is strongly recommended to contact your air carrier to obtain information about transportation of compressed gases.

    • What kind of medical gases are currently available?

Currently we only offer EP/USP Carbon Dioxide. In the near future, we will be offering other medical gases and gas mixtures as well.

    • Can an AirCapsule be used more than once?

Yes. One AirCapsule may be used for multiple treatments depending on the size of the AirCapsule in use, and the type of AirCover being used. The AirCapsule can be used for multiple treatments until the AirCapsule is emptied. After the AirCapsule is empty, please dispose of it according to local regulations and provisions.

    • Can the AirCapsule be removed from the AirJector device after the treatment?

The AirCapsule should only be removed from the AirJector device if the user confirmed that the AirCapsule is in fact empty. That may occur after few treatments, maybe after one treatment, depending on how much gas is used up for each treatment. If the user pushes the main gas release button, and nothing is coming out anymore, that means the AirCapsule is safe to be removed. If gas is still coming out, that means the user must empty the AirCapsule before removing it from the AirJector device.

    • Can the AirCover be used more than once?

No. It is a ONE-TIME-USE component! In order to prevent cross-contamination, the AirCover can NOT be used more than once. After using the AirCover once, it must be disposed to be collected by local waste management.

    • Can the treatment simply be continued if it had to stop for any reason?

      A. If treatment has to be stopped for any reason and the AirCover is removed, to restart treatment, a new AirCover must be used.
      B. If treatment has to be stopped and the AirCover was not removed, the treatment may be continued as left off.

    • Can I use the AirCover on any part of the human body?

No. The AirCovers should only be used according to user instructions.
WARNING! Any deviation from user instructions may cause harm to your health!

    • What water temperature should be used for the AirJector product?

Experiments show the ideal environmental temperature for the skin to absorb gases is between 82°F 97°F (28°C 36°C). In cases of water-based gas absorption like natural springs and AirJector treatment, this optimal temperature may be as high as 104°F (40°C). To reach such environmental temperature under the AirCover, the Mixing AirCup should be filled with water up to 80°C (176°F). The water temperature does not have to be exact. It is important to never reach close to boiling temperature!

WARNING! Please exercise caution when using warm water. Only use Mixing AirCup to warm up the water for the AirJector treatment or obtain warm water from any water source. Only use Mixing AirCup according to Instructions For Use! Any deviation from user instructions may cause harm to your health.

    • How can I obtain warm water for the AirJector product?

You may obtain warm water from any source of heated drinking water. If warm water is not readily available, a microwave may be used to warm up the water to the recommended temperature.
WARNING! Please make sure that you do not heat the water excessively. Only heat water to recommended temperature as described in your user instructions. Excessively hot water can scald or burn the skin upon contact.
Please exercise caution when using microwave for heating the water. Only use mixing AirCup to heat up or obtain warm water from any water source. Only use mixing AirCup according to user instructions. Any deviation from user instructions may cause harm to your health.

    • Are the AirCapsules and the medical gases approved In the European Union and by the United States FDA?

    • What type of feedback has RespiDerm received from customers who have used the AirJector device?

We have received feedback from several professional and self-care users. All feedback received was carefully considered and all constructive comments were incorporated into the product development.

    • Is the AirJector product recommended only to professional users?

The AirJector product was designed for all types of users in virtually any environment, including home self-care users. However, it is always recommended to consult with health care professionals before undergoing a medical treatment.

    • Can I request training for my employees to learn to use the AirJector product?

Yes. We offer video or personal training. However, the product was designed to be user friendly by following user instruction.

    • Can I fill up the Mixing AirCup with liquids other than pure water?

No substance (liquid or otherwise) other than water should be filled into the Mixing AirCup.

    • What do I do if I have a question, comment, or complaint about the AirJector product?

You may contact the sales representative in your area, or just call US Toll Free: +1 (844) AIR-JECT.

    • What happens when user tries to detach AirCapsule housing while gas is still in the AirCapsule and system is still under pressure?

The gas will escape into open air causing a high pitched sound. When this happens, user should stop unscrewing AirCapsule housing immediately, holding the AirJector device away from the user and client until the gas release completely stops and the AirCapsule empties. The user should then check the Main Gas Release Button to confirm that the system is no longer pressurized. At that point, the user may continue unscrewing the AirCapsule housing.

    • What is the difference between EP/USP gas and your AirCapsules and other gases filled in canisters and cartridges used for tire inflators, air guns, and other devices?

EP/USP are pharmacopoeia gases that have been classified as medical gases and must be produced according to pharmacopoeia standards that include cGMP drug facility that is regulated by FDA and European Medicines Agency (EMA). The other CO2 cartridges do not meet the pharmacopoeia quality and regulatory requirements, therefore they are not able to be promoted as such and cannot be used in applications / indications that require pharmacopoeia gases.

    • What is the average expiration date of the AirCapsules?

The manufacturer of our AirCapsule guarantees 2 years shelf life. Currently performing ongoing stability studies to soon prove the 5 year shelf life.

    • What if I forget to connect the Mixing AirCup, and connect the AirCapsule Housing loaded with AirCapsule to the AirJector device?

In this event, DO NOT PUSH THE MAIN GAS RELEASE BUTTON. YOU WILL be able to initiate the gas release with the Main Gas Release Button, and gas will be released through the Mixing AirCup connection pin sticking out from the hand-held device. In event, keep the AirJector device away from yourself and others as you attach the Mixing AirCup to the AirJector device without pushing the main gas release button. After the Mixing AirCup is connected properly, the Main Gas Release Button will initiate gas release and you may continue using the device according to instructions. Please note that if the Main Gas Release Button is pushed accidentally in this situation, the gas release will not be dangerous, can not harm anyone, and the release is only allowed on a controlled safe pressure built into the device.

    • What if I forget to connect the AirSprayer, and connect the AirCapsule Housing loaded with AirCapsule in it to the AirJector device?

In this event, YOU WILL BE able to initiate the gas release with the Main Gas Release Button. The gas will be released from the opening where the AirSprayer is normally be attached. If this happens, release the Main Gas Release Button, and keep the AirJector device away from others. Then attach the AirSprayer to the AirJector device without pushing the main gas release button. After the AirSprayer is connected properly, you may push the Main Gas Release Button and continue using the device according to the Instructions For Use.

    • How often do I have to empty water residue from AirSprayer?

Because the AirSprayer is a secondary water cup with limited capacity, it must be emptied after every treatment. Using the AirSprayer with the “open” gas steaming setting will allow more steam to pass through along with the medical gas, but it will still collect some water. Using the AirSprayer with the “closed” setting will stop water from passing through it along with the medical gas, resulting in much more water buildup. If the AirSprayer is not emptied after each treatment, it may fill with water and can start spilling unwanted water or spraying water into the treatment cover.

    • What am I supposed to do if the AirCapsule does not appear to be pierced and/or does not release any gas after being properly connected to the AirJector device? The Main Gas Release Button did not get firmer!

If for any reason such error occurs, please move the AirJector device away from others and from yourself. Slowly unscrew the AirCapsule Housing until you hear a high pitched sound. This means the AirCapsule has begun to detach from the valve system behind the long thread, and gas is beginning to escape. When this happens, stop unscrewing the AirCapsule housing and place the AirJector device away from yourself and others until the gas release noise completely stops and the AirCapsule empties. Then check the Main Gas Release Button to confirm the system is in fact no longer under pressure. When the noise has stopped and you have confirmed that the system is not under pressure, you may continue unscrewing the AirCapsule housing.

    • What if I forget to use AirCapsule Clip and load the AirCapsule into AirCapsule Housing and connect to the device?

If this happens, the piercing of the AirCapsule will not take place. The Main Gas Release Button will not pop out or get firmer, and when pushing it, the gas release will not occur. The AirCapsule most likely will be loose in the AirCapsule housing without any support. When this happens, simply unscrew the AirCapsule Housing; take out the AirCapsule, and continue steps according to the Instructions For Use.

    • What should be done if the Mixing AirCup runs out of water during operation?

First, release the Main Gas Release Button to stop the gas flow. After the flow has stopped, the Mixing AirCup can be removed by unscrewing the plastic securing ring. Then follow the water filling and reattaching instructions according to the Instructions For Use. After the Mixing AirCup is filled with water and reattached properly with its securing ring; the Main Gas Release Button can be initiated again to start gas release, but only after the AirJector is connected to the AirCover according to the Instructions For Use.

    • Is there any recommendation for better and easier AirJector product and treatment handling based on experience?

During removal of the adhesive from the skin, the protective layer is what comes off, protecting the skin as much as possible. Some irritation may still be present.

    • Can I use the AirJector device as many times as I want and as often as I want?
